Alarming and evacuation concept with dynamic escape path signalling

The task designation of EVACom is "Less smoke casualities due to efficient escape route guidance".
EVACom basically depends on acoustic escape route guidance, that is superior to pure optical escape routing in smoke filled areas. The person reacts very clearly and explicitly to audio instructions without misunderstanding.
At the same time intercom terminals, that are carried out as EVACom-stations, can check alarm messages (e.g. form smoke detection systems) for relevance of alarming or evacuation (code entry as spurious alarm). This way unnecessary evacuations can be prevented and the rescue time in emergency cases can be minimized.
Additionally Schneider Intercom has integrated the functionality "Automatic time- and process-controlled activation of the alarm system".
