Series EF 031 / EB 330 - 2-Wire Detention Cell Terminals with Surface Sensing
Schneider Intercom’s detention cell terminal was specifically designed for correctional facilities and forensic clinics as well as police and court holding wards and prison cells. To further enhance the security level, the terminals not only transport speech but also fulfil control requirements as well as signalling and detection tasks.
Innovative technologies and the modular concept guarantee a future-proof investment. The optional mobile phone detection module takes care of the problem of detainees illegally in possession of cellular phones. Surface sensing protects guards while in the cell: In critical situations, a touch of the front plate activates the guard alert.
Digital 2-wire DSP technology allows for Audio Monitoring and OpenDuplex® as well as loudspeaker-microphone monitoring, which in combination with programmable line monitoring ensures operativeness of the detention cell terminals at all times.
